XIII International Week

May 13th to 17th 2024

Between May 13th and 17th, IPSantarém organizes the XIII Erasmus International Week, an event that brings together teachers and staff from partner institutions within the Erasmus Program. This year’s theme, “EU Values, societal challenges, and multiculturalism – the role of Higher Education Institutions,” features a series of conferences and workshops aimed at fostering reflection on the role of Higher Education Institutions and internationalization programs, particularly the Erasmus Program, in promoting European values of peace, democracy, and social rights.

The event program also includes sessions for the presentation of international projects developed by IPSantarém, where participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas and share best practices to foster the establishment of future partnerships.

The event welcomes the participation of approximately 50 teachers and staff from the international relations offices of 31 universities and 17 countries (Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, and Turkey).

Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to explore the city and the region through a diverse cultural program.
